BioLogic Releases Dry Bag for Smartphone

TAIPEI, TAIWAN — March 7, 2012 — BioLogic, a specialist in urban cycling gear, today announced its Dry Bag for Smartphone, a waterproof bag for touchscreen phones. The Dry Bag is perfect for use while out cycling, sailing on a boat, hiking, or just out for a stroll — anytime someone needs a convenient way to carry a smartphone and protect it from the elements. The Dry Bag is easily hung around the neck for easy access to a phone for listening to music or checking GPS position at a glance.

The Dry Bag for Smartphone protects against a wide variety of nasty weather while allowing the best features of the smartphone to shine. Headphones work via a built-in waterproof audio connector that also supports in-line headphone remotes. A thin-film window allows full access to a phone’s touchscreen and a window on the backside allows use of a phone’s camera to take pictures or video. The Dry Bag comes with a lanyard, which features a safety snap-release system, and meets the standard for an Ingress Protection Rating of IP67, meaning it protects from particulates like sand and dust and is waterproof to 1 meter (3 feet).
