Hi Micheal,

The RPM and BPM icons you see in the app are reserved for future functions in the program that will take reading from outside sensors. We’ll make more announcements about these functions as they become ready for release.

I downloaded BikeBrain Plus today (18th January 2012). Although the acronyms “RPM” and “BPM” appear on the console and I’m wearing a heart rate monitor and transmitter, the reading stays as “0”.

What do I need to do to have heart rate and cadence displayed on the console?

Any news when BikeBrain Pro might be released? And will you make an ANT+ receiver that fits into the current iPhone 4 case or will we need to buy a new one to fit inside either yours or the one from Wahoo? Or are you planning a case with integrated ANT+ hardware?

The replies seem to be missing out on a point : when ant+ functionality is available it will be necessary to have a) a sensor (ant+ compatible) eg HR, cadence, power and/ or speed and also b) an ant+ receiver connected to the phone either proprietary or already available. This would mean that the phone with such a sensor CANNOT be used with the reecharge case as it will not close or be watertight (and worse, the ant+ implementation may require a case with buikt-in ant+ receiver). So my question is this last point icorrect – would it be a waste to purchase the case now if planning to use existing or new proprietary ant+ units – or can you already advise how ant+ will be implemented? Until such clarity, it is difficult to commit to the hardware…. Thx David

Thank you for your interest in our Biologic products.

Currently , you only can upgrade to Bike Brain Plus Version.
For heartbeat will be compatible with BikeBrain Pro version.
We are currently working on a Bike Brain Pro Version and the related hardwares of ANT+ sensors will be available once Pro Version ready, but have no definite date when it will be available.
Pro Version is only available with ANT + sensor, not available with Blue Bluetooth.
However, when we release BikeBrain Pro, you will be able to use your preferred ANT+ sensors.

The ReeCharge Case for iPhone is planned to be available around end of Sep..
We expected can be online for sale about early of Oct.

What product must i buy to see my Heart-rate in this app?
I bougt the Plus version in hope to find information about this.

First of all thank u for this app. Love it !
Couple of requests. Gps is not very accurate on speed/distance especially in heavily wooded areas. ANT+ solutions and compatibility would be fantastic if resolved through software (otherwise everybody will have to throw away they IPhone cases). Thanks again and look forward to future versions (ps the sharing function is awesome and simple).

The Bike Mount for iPhone 4 should not interfere with Bluetooth signals, but may reduce the functional distance of connected Bluetooth devices.

Will the waves of a bluetooth device pass the mount case to reach my headset or have i to use a cabel?

Support for ANT+ sensors are in the works. You’ll have to use a hardware attachment to gather signals from the sensors but we’re also working on something for that too.

BikeBrain Pro is scheduled to be available by this fall.

The Dynamo Kit and Case Bracket are both sold separately from the ReeCharge Case for iPhone.

Charging directly from the battery of a pedelec probably is possible, but we can’t advise you specifically how to do so.

That part of the manual hints at features we’ll be introducing in future versions of the app. BikeBrain Lite doesn’t need this information because all tracking is done via GPS.

I love the app, great first version! After using it for about I week, I have one major feature request – stop detection. I commute on my bike so I encounter a lot of red lights. I would love to separate the time I spend stopped at lights from my active riding time.

Not seeing the place to enter wheel size on the app as directed by your manual. Is that to be added later?

Will the upcoming version of BikeBrain or BikeBrain Pro support ANT+ sensors without any additional hardware or have I to buy a special case with a receiver?

I’m interested in a ReeCharge Case for iPhone. Have I to buy a Dynamo Kit and a Case Bracket separetely? Is there any possibility to charge the iPhone using the battery of a Pedelec (e-bike)?

BikeBrain Lite doesn’t support ANT+ but we’ll be offering that function in a upgrade version soon. Thanks for trying it out!
